Support Worker - Supported Living

Location: Wandsworth (SW17 and nearby)

Circa £21,300 to £22,500 per annum including excellent benefits
based on working 40 hours and two sleep-ins per week, plus overtime

Contract Type:

Working hours:
40 hours and two sleep-ins Full time hours with the opportunity for overtime
20 hours and one sleep-in Part time hours with the opportunity for overtime

Typical shift pattern:
Shifts will be anytime Monday to Sunday based on the needs of the service users you are supporting. Your timetable will be as similar as possible each week and we will endeavour to give you two consecutive days off each week whenever possible.

About the role
First things first, every day is different; you will help our service users to live meaningful and extraordinary lives, by developing a creative environment in which to stimulate and develop positive relationships. You'll go the extra mile for our service users - how would you find rewarding and varied ways to make a difference to their lives? In return, you'll get a fun and challenging role, that will be both demanding and rewarding, including CIS online training and in-house industry relevant training, and a basic salary of £21,340.

About you
Naturally friendly, you're a positive and proactive person looking for a long-term career in a truly caring company. You are a great communicator and a dynamic team player, you have the ability to build good relationships with everyone you work with - always seeking the best results for our service users. You are enthusiastic, friendly and dedicated, and enjoy helping people to reach their potential.
You have at least one years experience in an Adult Care / Support Environment, a knowledge of Safeguarding procedures and experience of loan working.
You will be qualified with QCF (NVQ) Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care, or equivalent.

The sister company of Act Too Limited, who trade as The Baked Bean Company, we saw an opportunity through Independent Living to support service users/tenants to live full and independent lives in their community.
