Support Worker – Supported Living

How we are helping – We provide supported living and community support services to adults with learning disabilities in Wandsworth and the surrounding boroughs of London

We are looking for motivated, innovative individuals to fill several Support Worker roles, supporting people with learning disabilities in their own home and the community.

The ideal Support Worker candidate should have a deep understanding of working with complex needs and challenging behaviour and must demonstrate an aptitude for working within the field. 

We seek a great communicator and a dynamic team player to fill these Support Worker roles, who can help our service users to live meaningful and extraordinary lives, developing a creative environment in which to stimulate and develop positive relationships.

You should have at least six months’ experience of Caring for Adults with Learning Disabilities; Autism, Down's Syndrome, or Challenging Behaviour. You should have secondary education or equivalent.

It would also be beneficial for the Support Worker to have any of the following: 

  • IT skills, (basic Word, Excel, E-mail, form filling).
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding procedures.
  • Experience of lone working.
  • Health and Social Care NVQ/QCF Certificate - Level 2. This is preferred, but not essential as full training and support will be given.
  • Full driving licence.

Details of Support Worker role.

  • Full Time: 40 hours plus two 2 sleep-ins per week..
  • Starting salary: £21,340 pa.


  • Part Time: 20 hours plus one 1 sleep-in per week.
  • Starting salary: £10,670 pa.
